Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this nature walk?

A: Kids of all ages are welcome on the Point Lobos Nature Walk! Just keep in mind that the trail can be a bit rugged in spots, so younger kids might need a parent's help. It's a great way for families to bond while enjoying nature together!

Q: What should I wear for the nature walk? Is it hard to walk on the trails?

A: Comfortable shoes are a must! The trails vary in difficulty, but most are manageable for the average person. I recommend wearing layers since it can get a bit chilly near the cliffs. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses, especially if it’s sunny!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can you reschedule the walk?

A: If the weather looks really bad, they usually offer to reschedule. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy when you book. It's always good to have a backup plan, though, like visiting a nearby aquarium in case of rain!

Thinking of giving the Guided Point Lobos Nature Walk as a gift!

I’m looking to treat my parents to something special, and this nature walk sounds perfect. I love that it’s in Monterey and they might see seals and otters! I’m just worried about my dad's knee issues; is it too tough for him? Also, any recommendations on what else to do in the area afterward?

Just did the Guided Nature Walk at Point Lobos – AMAZING!

I went last weekend and it was awesome! The views were breathtaking and we saw a ton of wildlife. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the area's history too. Perfect for pics! Just a heads up, wear comfy shoes—it can get a bit uneven. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Monterey!
