Q: Is there an age limit for the guided fly fishing experience in Park City?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for ages 10 and up. The guides are super accommodating and great with kids, so they can help them learn the basics. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a bit more supervision. It’s a great way to introduce them to fishing in a beautiful setting!

Q: What should we wear for the fly fishing trip? Is it okay if it rains?

A: Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking clothes and bring a light jacket. They provide waders and boots, which is awesome! If it rains, the trips usually still go unless the conditions are really bad, but check with them beforehand just to be safe. You’ll be on those beautiful rivers, so a little water never hurt anyone!

Q: How far in advance do you need to book the fly fishing experience?

A: I’d recommend booking at least two weeks ahead, especially if you want a weekend spot. These guys get busy fast, particularly in the summer and early fall. In case of bad weather, they’re pretty flexible with rescheduling, but it’s best to confirm with them directly.

I recently went on the guided fly fishing trip with Mayfly Fishing, and it was one of the best experiences ever! The scenery was breathtaking and the guide was super knowledgeable. We caught a ton of fish! I highly recommend this for anyone looking to escape for a day. Just make sure you wear comfortable clothes and be ready to learn!
