Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids typically need to be at least 10 to participate comfortably. They’ll need to be able to handle the gear and follow instructions. Fins & Feathers is great with kids, and they customize the experience to make it enjoyable for everyone!
A: You’ll want to wear comfortable, breathable layers since the weather can change quickly in Montana. Quick-dry clothes are great, and don’t forget sunscreen and a hat! The guides provide waders if you're fishing in deeper water, so you won't need to buy those.
A: Yes! Fins & Feathers is pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather. If it's unsafe to head out, they'll contact you and help you find a new date that works for you. Just keep an eye on the forecast before your trip!

Considering a guided fly fishing trip in Bozeman for a birthday gift!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking of gifting my brother a full-day fly fishing trip with Fins & Feathers in Bozeman. He’s never fished before but really wants to try it out! I love that they cater to different skill levels. Any thoughts on the experience? How’s the scenery and the guides?
Just got back from the guided fly fishing trip and it was AMAZING!
I went on the guided fly fishing trip in Bozeman last week and I can't recommend it enough! The scenery was stunning, and our guide was super knowledgeable. I caught a few fish, but honestly, just being out there was worth it. Lunch was a nice touch too! Definitely a great day.
