Q&A

Q: Is there a limit on how old the participants can be for the guided hike?

A: There's no strict age limit, but it’s recommended for ages 10 and up, so younger kids might find it tough. The trails can be moderate to strenuous depending on the group’s preference, so just check with the provider if your little ones can keep up. They’re also great about accommodating different skill levels.

Q: What should we wear for the hike? Any tips?

A: I recommend dressing in layers since the weather can change quickly in the Rockies. Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes. Bring a light jacket, especially if you're hiking in the morning or later in the day. And don't forget sunscreen and a hat—the sun can be intense at altitude!

Q: How does rescheduling work if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather looks bad, they’ll typically contact you the night before to discuss options. You can usually reschedule without a fee, but it’s best to check their cancellation policy just to be safe. They want you to have a great experience, so they’re flexible about it.

Thinking about gifting the guided hike in Rocky Mountain National Park!

Hey everyone! I’m considering this guided hike as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves nature but hasn’t hiked much. Does anyone have experience with this? I read it includes lunch, which is awesome. What’s the hiking level like? I don’t want him to struggle the whole time!

Just did the guided hike, and it was AMAZING!

I went on this hike last weekend with some friends, and I can’t recommend it enough! The scenery is just out of this world, especially when we reached the lake. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made it fun. We had a blast with the picnic lunch too; the turkey sandwiches were a win!
