Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for kids 10 and older since the hike is moderate and about 4 miles long. It can get a bit steep in places, so younger kids might struggle. Plus, having them along could be a fun bonding experience! Just make sure they’re comfortable walking that distance.
A: Definitely wear sturdy hiking shoes with good grip, since the trail can be rocky and uneven in spots. Lightweight, breathable clothing is great because it can get pretty warm. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen if you're hiking during the day!
A: The policy allows you to reschedule for bad weather, but you won't get a refund. It's a good idea to keep an eye on the forecast before booking. If there’s a chance of storms, definitely reach out to see what your options are!

Thinking of gifting the Lime Kiln hike - any advice?
I’m considering this hike for my girlfriend’s birthday! We both love the outdoors and I've heard the views on the Lime Kiln trail are stunning. I’m wondering if anyone has done it? How was the guide? What do you think, is it a good gift idea?
Just finished the Lime Kiln hike - what a blast!
I just got back from the Lime Kiln hike yesterday! The views of the Lower Salt River were incredible, and we spotted a few wild horses! It was challenging but worth every step. Highly recommend it if you’re up for a moderate hike! Don't forget your camera!
