Q&A
A: The best time to take the Guided Historical Sightseeing Tour in St. Augustine is during the spring or fall. The weather is milder and more comfortable for walking around. Summer can be really hot and crowded due to tourists. If you're aiming for a birthday, late April or early October would be perfect for a pleasant experience.
A: There are no strict age limits for the tour, and it's generally family-friendly! Kids usually enjoy the stories of pirates and explorers. Just keep in mind that younger children might get tired since the tour involves quite a bit of walking. If they're up for it, it should be a fun experience for the whole family!
A: If the weather is too bad, you can easily reschedule your tour by contacting American Capital Tours directly. They’re pretty flexible and will work with you to find a new date. Just make sure to do it as soon as you know you can't make it, especially during stormy seasons!

Just did the Historical Sightseeing Tour in St. Augustine!
I recently took the Guided Historical Sightseeing Tour and it was amazing! The guide knew so much about the history of St. Augustine, especially the Castillo de San Marcos and the stories behind the Lightner Museum. Walking through those cute cobblestone streets was like stepping back in time. We even got to sip some water from the Fountain of Youth! Highly recommend if you're into history or just want a unique experience. I’m thinking of gifting this to my sister for her birthday too!
Considering the Sightseeing Tour as a Gift – Anyone done it?
I’m really thinking about getting the Guided Historical Sightseeing Tour as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. They love history and I know they’d appreciate the charm of St. Augustine! Just wondering if anyone has done it and if you think it’s worth the price? Also, any tips for them regarding what to wear?
