Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this horseback tour? My kids are 10 and 12.

A: There’s no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 8 years old for safety reasons. It's a great experience for your kids! Just make sure they’re comfortable around horses. Oh, and if you go in the summer, it gets pretty hot, so an early morning tour would be best.

Q: What should I wear for the horseback tour? Any specific gear?

A: Definitely wear long pants and closed-toed shoes! Sneakers or boots are best. You’ll want something comfortable since you'll be in the saddle. A hat and sunscreen are also a good idea, especially during the summer.

Q: What’s the cancellation policy if the weather's bad?

A: If the weather is really bad, they’ll usually give you a call to reschedule. They’re pretty flexible with cancellations, especially if it's for safety. Just make sure to give them a heads up as soon as possible.

Just did the Sedona horseback tour, and it was amazing!

I recently took the guided horseback tour with Wild Western Horseback Adventures and wow, it was breathtaking! The views of the mountains were incredible, and we even got to see some ancient Indian ruins. The ride along the vineyard was just beautiful. It felt like a movie! Highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves the outdoors. Just be prepared for some ups and downs with the terrain.

Thinking of gifting the Sedona horseback experience!

I’m looking for a unique gift for my friend’s birthday and came across this horseback tour near Sedona. It sounds really cool, but I’m just worried about how strenuous it might be. I don’t know if she's ever ridden before. Has anyone done this? Would it be suitable for a beginner?
