Q&A

Q: What’s the age limit for kids on this kayak tour? Thinking of taking my 10-year-old.

A: Kids as young as 8 can join the kayak tour, but they must be accompanied by an adult. It's a great way for families to spend time together while exploring the mangroves! Just make sure your child is comfortable in the water.

Q: Can you reschedule if it rains? Don’t want to ruin my plans.

A: Yes! The tour can be rescheduled due to weather conditions. If it looks like rain, just call them ahead of time. They’re pretty flexible and want everyone to have a great experience.

Q: What should I wear for the kayak tour? Is it casual or more sporty?

A: Definitely go for casual, but make sure to wear quick-dry clothes and good water shoes. And don’t forget sunscreen and a hat! It gets hot out there.

Just got back from the kayak tour at E G Simmons Park!

Wow, what an awesome experience! We saw dolphins right away and the mangrove tunnels were so cool. The guides know their stuff and were super friendly. I even learned about the bird species we spotted. If you’re looking for a unique gift, this is it! Just don’t forget snacks and water (and sunscreen) for the trip!

Considering the kayak tour as a gift for my partner!

Thinking about the guided kayak experience at E G Simmons Park for my boyfriend's birthday. He loves nature and I know he'd enjoy spotting dolphins and manatees. Is it really worth it? Anyone done it recently?
