Q&A
A: Kids are absolutely welcome on this kayak tour! However, I'd recommend that they be at least 5 years old to have a good time. The guides are great with families and make sure everyone is comfortable. Just remember that kids need to be able to sit still in the kayak for a couple of hours, so it might depend on their temperament too!
A: Definitely wear something comfy that you don't mind getting wet! Quick-dry clothes are a good choice. A swimsuit with a light cover-up works great too. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and maybe a hat for sun protection. Enjoy the splashes from the manatees! :)
A: Yes, if the weather is unsafe, they will usually cancel the tour and work with you to reschedule. It’s best to call them ahead of time if the forecast looks iffy, but they’re really good about keeping an eye on conditions. Just be sure to check your email for updates!

Thinking about gifting the kayak tour for my partner's birthday!
Hey everyone! I'm considering booking the Guided Kayak Tour of Crystal Rivers Springs for my partner's birthday. We love nature and the idea of seeing manatees up close sounds amazing. I read it’s suitable for beginners, which is great because neither of us has kayaked before. Any tips or experiences to share? Is it as peaceful as it sounds?
Just did the kayak tour and it was magical!
OMG, I just got back from the kayak tour at Crystal River, and it was beyond amazing! We saw a bunch of manatees and even a dolphin! The guides were super chill, and the whole vibe was relaxing. Pro tip: go early in the morning to avoid the crowds and the heat. I can’t recommend this enough for a nature escape!
