Q&A
A: Yes, there is a weight limit of 240lbs per person for the kayak tour. It's pretty standard for safety reasons, so make sure anyone going meets that limit. The tour is great for ages 5 and up, but they need to be accompanied by an adult (16+).
A: It's best to wear quick-drying clothes and maybe a light jacket if it's chilly. Closed-toe shoes are recommended since you might have to walk on rocky areas once you reach Hope Island. Leave the sandals at home; you’ll want good grip!
A: Rain can sometimes lead to cancellations, but it really depends on conditions. If the weather is just light rain, the tour might still go ahead. They usually notify you a day before if there’s a cancellation. It's a good idea to check their policy when you book!

Just did the kayak tour to Hope Island - a must-do!
I went on the guided kayak tour to Hope Island last weekend, and wow, what an experience! The views of Mt. Rainier were unreal, and we even saw some seals playing in the water. The guides were super chill and really knew their stuff. I think it’s perfect as a gift for anyone who loves the outdoors! Can't wait to go again!
Thinking about gifting the kayak tour to my parents!
My parents love exploring nature but have never kayaked before. I’m considering this tour for their anniversary. How easy is it for beginners? Also, how’s the parking in Seattle?
