A: There's no strict minimum age, but the tour is best for kids who can handle about 2.5 hours of walking and listening. I'd say around 10 and up would be ideal, especially since there's some complex history involved. Just make sure they’re comfortable in crowded subway areas!

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: Rain or shine, the subway tour goes on! The guide will provide umbrellas and it’s all underground, so you don't have to worry about the weather affecting your experience. Just check with Gary before your tour just to confirm everything's on schedule.

Q: What should we wear for the subway tour? Any tips?

A: Wear comfy shoes for sure! You'll be walking a lot, and the subway floors can be uneven. I'd suggest layers because it can get a bit hot down there but chilly at stops. A small backpack for water and snacks is a good call too.

Just finished the underground subway tour and wow!

I can't recommend this enough! Our guide was Gary and he was hilarious and super knowledgeable. The stories he shared about the history of the subway made me appreciate it so much more. Plus, I finally found out why the subway has that weird smell! 😂 If you’re considering this as a gift, go for it!
