Q: Are there any age restrictions for this RIB boat tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 5 years old to enjoy the experience safely. It’s definitely a great adventure for families, just make sure they can sit still during the ride. Also, if you have any younger kids, contact the providers ahead of time to see if they can accommodate younger ones.

Q: What’s the best time of year to go on this tour?

A: Late spring through early fall is really the best time for this tour. July and August tend to be the warmest and you’ll see the most wildlife. Just remember to check for weather conditions because if it’s too windy, they might cancel the trip. You can usually reschedule if that happens, but it's good to plan ahead!

Q: Is parking easy near the Portland Harbor for this boat tour?

A: Yeah, parking can be a bit tricky, but there are a few lots around the harbor. I’d recommend getting there early to find a spot, especially on weekends. There’s also street parking, but it fills up fast. Make sure to check for any parking fees too!

Thinking about gifting the RIB Boat Adventure in Portland!

I’m really considering this RIB boat tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love being on the water and I think the wildlife will blow their minds! I saw that it includes stops at lighthouses and even a chance to see seals. Can anyone tell me if the ride is bumpy? They’re not the best with rough seas. Also, do you have to wear anything specific?

Just got back from the Best Of Casco Bay tour!

OMG, the RIB Boat Adventure in Portland was incredible! The views of the lighthouses and islands were stunning. Our captain was super knowledgeable about the area too! We saw seals lounging on the rocks and even spotted some porpoises! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun outdoor experience. Just be sure to take your camera!
