Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this snowshoe experience? My kids are 10 and 12.

A: Hey! There’s no strict age limit for the snowshoe experience, but kids should be able to walk a bit in the snow. I took my 11-year-old last winter, and he had a blast! Just make sure they’re bundled up and can handle some walking in the snow. The guide is super helpful and aware of kid-friendly pace.

Q: Can I reschedule if the weather is bad? What’s the policy?

A: Great question! Yes, you can reschedule if the weather’s not cooperating. They usually contact you the day before if conditions are questionable. Just let them know your preferred date, and they’ll work with you to find a good time. I had to reschedule once because of a storm, and it was super easy!

Q: What should we wear for this? I don’t wanna be cold or wet!

A: You definitely want to layer up! A moisture-wicking base layer, a warm fleece or down jacket, and a waterproof outer layer are key. Don’t forget waterproof boots and warm socks! I wore a beanie and gloves too, and I was super cozy even in the snow! The guide will provide snowshoes, so just focus on your clothing.

Thinking of gifting the Guided Snowshoe Experience in Lake Tahoe!

I’m looking for a unique gift for my partner's birthday and stumbled upon this guided snowshoe experience. The idea of trekking through untouched snow sounds amazing! I love that there’s a sauna and hot tub involved afterward. Just wondering how challenging the actual hike is? They’ve never snowshoed before but are generally active.

Just did the snowshoe experience at Lake Tahoe, and WOW!

I went on the guided snowshoe experience last week and it was incredible! The snow was so soft, like walking in a cloud! Our guide was super knowledgeable, and we went off-trail which added some excitement. The sauna and hot tub were such a nice perk afterward. Totally recommend this for anyone looking to get outdoors and have some fun!
