Q&A
A: Evening cruises usually have the best chance of seeing dolphins since that’s when they’re most active. I'd recommend booking during the warmer months, like late spring through early fall. The later in the day, the better for spotting them, especially around sunset!
A: There aren't any specific age restrictions for this cruise, so it's definitely family-friendly! Kids typically love dolphin watching and the sunset views. Just keep in mind to bring snacks or something for them if they get grumpy—there’s water on board, but not a full snack bar.
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the cruise provider will allow you to reschedule! It’s best to call them on the day of your booked cruise to check in. They’re pretty flexible and want to ensure everyone has a great time.

Just did the sunset cruise in Destin – what an experience!
I went on the Guided Sunset and Eco Tour last week, and it was absolutely beautiful! We saw a couple of dolphins swimming alongside the boat, which totally made the trip worth it. The sunset over Choctawhatchee Bay is just stunning—like a painting in the sky. The crew was super friendly too. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Destin!
Thinking about gifting the sunset cruise – any advice?
I’m considering this sunset cruise experience as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. They love being on the water and watching sunsets. How do you guys feel about it? Is the boat comfortable, and do they serve any food or drinks aside from water?
