Q&A
A: The best time for this experience is definitely late spring to early fall. From May to September, the weather is milder, and the forest is alive with colors and sounds. You'll have a better chance of clear skies for the beach meditation, too. Just keep in mind that Alaska's weather can be unpredictable, so layering up is key!
A: There's no strict age limit! It’s suitable for teens and adults. Just make sure your daughter is comfortable with hiking and outdoor activities since there will be some walking involved. The mindfulness session is very calming, and many younger participants really appreciate the experience.
A: Wear comfy hiking shoes and layers! The trails can be a bit uneven, so good footwear is essential. I recommend breathable clothes because you might get warm while walking. And don't forget a light jacket in case the weather changes suddenly. It’s not a major hike, but you’ll want to be prepared!

Just booked the Guided Wilderness Mindfulness Experience - Any tips?
I’m super excited! I just booked the Guided Wilderness Mindfulness Experience in Juneau for next month. I’m a little nervous about the hiking part but I’ve heard it’s not too strenuous. Also really looking forward to that local chef meal! Any tips from those who've gone before? What was your favorite part?
Considering this as a gift for my partner - thoughts?
I’m thinking about gifting the Guided Wilderness Mindfulness Experience to my partner for their birthday. They love nature and meditation, so it seems perfect! Has anyone done this? Is it really as serene as it sounds?
