Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the Winter Wonderland tour? Is it super cold?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly, especially up at the White Pass summit. I recommend a warm jacket, gloves, and a hat. You might even want to bring waterproof shoes if you plan on playing in the snow. Don't forget to check the weather before you go!

Q: Are there any age limits for this tour? My kids are 8 and 10.

A: There’s no strict age limit! Kids are totally welcome on the tour. Just make sure they can handle a bit of cold and enjoy the scenic stops. The tour guide will keep things fun and engaging for them. It’s great for families!

Q: How does the pickup/drop-off work if we’re on a cruise?

A: Pickup is super easy! They'll meet you right at the cruise ship docks and take you back after the tour. Just make sure to coordinate your timing with the ship schedule. They’re good about getting you back on time, but it’s always smart to double-check with your cruise itinerary.

Thinking of gifting the Winter Wonderland tour to my parents!

I want to surprise my parents with something special during their Alaska cruise. They love nature and I think this guided tour would be perfect! I’ve read about the stunning views at places like Tormented Valley and the photo stops. Just wondering if anyone has done it and how the experience was? Any tips?

Just did the Winter Wonderland tour—what an experience!

I just got back from the guided Winter Wonderland tour and wow, it was incredible! The views along the Klondike Highway were stunning, especially the Bridal Veil Falls. We even stopped to play in the snow, which was so much fun! Perfect for anyone who wants a great day out in nature. Highly recommend it!
