Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this bike tour? My niece is 14 and I was thinking of taking her.

A: Unfortunately, the minimum age for this bike tour is 15. It’s a safety requirement since the tour is quite extensive and requires some biking experience. But you could look for other fun experiences for your niece while you’re in Maui! Maybe a different tour that allows younger participants?

Q: What should I wear for this bike tour? I’ve never done anything like this before.

A: You're gonna want to layer up! It can get chilly early in the morning at 6,500 ft., so a sweatshirt or jacket is key. Make sure to wear closed-toe shoes since it's a requirement, and don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen. You'll get to warm up as you ride down the mountain, but starting off cozy is a must!

Q: How's the parking situation at the meeting point? Is it easy to find?

A: Parking is pretty straightforward! There's a decent-sized lot at 810 Haiku Rd. Just make sure to arrive a bit early to find a good spot, especially on busy days. The guides will meet you right there, so it's easy to get to! If you have any extra gear, the guides will help you store it safely.

Just did the Haleakala Morning Bike Tour and WOW!

I just got back from the Haleakala Morning Best Guided Bike Tour and it was AMAZING! The views from the top were breathtaking, like nothing I've seen before. I was super nervous since I hadn't biked in a while, but the guides were awesome and made me feel safe. The ride down was such a rush! We had a fun lunch in Makawao afterward, and I even saw some cute local shops. Totally recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves adventure!

Thinking of gifting the Haleakala bike tour for my partner's birthday!

I’m considering getting the Haleakala Morning Bike Tour as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. He loves biking and adventures but doesn’t have much experience with downhill stuff. Can anyone share how challenging it is? I don't want him to be overwhelmed or scared!
