Don't forget a waterproof jacket and sturdy shoes, since you'll be on a boat and walking near the river. Sunscreen is a must too, even if it's cloudy! You want to be comfortable while you’re reeling in those salmon!

A: Great question! Kids of all ages can join, and they provide life jackets for infants to adults, so safety is prioritized. I took my 8-year-old son last year, and he had an absolute blast! Just keep in mind that younger kids might need some extra help with casting and reeling.

A: If the weather turns bad, the company will usually contact you to discuss options. They’ll do their best to reschedule your trip or offer a refund if that's not possible. I had to reschedule due to rain last summer, and they were super accommodating!

Just got back from the Kenai Salmon Fishing trip!

Wow, what an adventure! We went salmon fishing on the Kenai Peninsula last weekend, and it was amazing. Caught 5 big ones! The guides were friendly and made it such a fun experience. They even helped us fileting the fish afterward. Highly recommend if you’re thinking of it as a gift for someone who loves the outdoors!
