Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Antelope Canyon tour? Is it really hot in the summer?

A: In summer, it can get super hot, so dress in light, breathable fabrics. Also, good hiking shoes are a must because the terrain can be uneven in the canyon. Don’t forget your sunscreen and a hat! Layering can help too since it might be cooler early in the morning and warmer later.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour? My son is 7 and loves hiking!

A: There’s no strict age limit but kids should be able to walk for about 1-2 hours. The tour guides are great with families though. Just make sure your son can handle some walking and uneven ground. It’s a perfect experience for adventurous kids!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad? How do I find out about weather cancellations?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate! They usually contact you the day before with any updates if weather conditions are poor. It’s always good to check with them directly, but they've been super flexible in my experience.

Thinking about gifting the Antelope Canyon tour, anyone done it?

I’m considering this half-day tour for my sister’s birthday. I’ve seen some amazing photos from Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, but I’m a bit nervous about the whole logistics of it. How was the experience for you? Did you feel rushed? Any recommendations on which canyon is better?

Antelope Canyon tour: is it worth it?

I’m really torn about this tour. It’s a bit pricey for me but I’ve always wanted to visit Antelope Canyon. Can anyone share their experience? Was it everything you hoped for? Also, how was the van ride to Horseshoe Bend?
