Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be able to handle being out on the water for about 4 hours. Captain Ryan is super friendly and has experience with kids, so he’ll help make it fun and safe for them. Just make sure they’re comfortable with fishing and being out on a boat!
A: Yes! If bad weather cancels the trip, Captain Ryan will work with you to reschedule for another day that works. Just keep an eye on the forecast and be flexible. He wants to ensure you have a great experience!
A: Definitely wear something comfy and breathable! Lightweight pants or shorts and a moisture-wicking shirt are great. Don’t forget a wide-brimmed hat and plenty of sunscreen. It can get sunny out there, but Captain Ryan has water and gear covered!

Looking to book the backcountry fishing trip in Key West!
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about booking the half-day backcountry fishing charter for my dad's birthday. He's a huge fishing fan and loves catching different species. I’ve read great things about Captain Ryan and his personalized approach. Has anyone done this recently? What was your experience like? Any tips for a first-timer?
Just got back from the Key West fishing charter!
Wow, what an awesome experience! The half-day backcountry fishing charter was so worth it. We caught snappers and even a small shark! Captain Ryan really knows his stuff. He made the trip enjoyable and taught us a lot about the local fish species. Will definitely recommend this to friends!
