Q&A
A: If the weather looks bad, Captain Mike usually tries to reschedule for another day. They want everyone to have a great experience, so safety is a priority. You can call the Miss Chris Boats number on the day of your trip to check the status. If they cancel, you'll get a full refund or can pick another date! Just make sure to keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your trip.
A: Absolutely! This trip is designed for families, and they have mates on board to help kids learn how to fish. They’re super patient and show them everything from baiting hooks to reeling in fish. Plus, it’s a great way to spend time together outdoors. I took my 9-year-old and he had a blast!
A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly out on the water, especially in the morning. A light jacket or a hoodie is a good idea. Also, wear non-slip shoes since the deck can get wet! Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat, too—you're gonna want protection from that sun!

Just Got Back from the Half Day Fishing Experience in Cape May!
Wow, what an awesome time! My family went out on the Miss Chris last weekend. Captain Mike and the crew were fantastic. They helped my kids bait hooks and even showed them how to reel in the fish. We caught flounder and some sea bass! The views of Cape May Lighthouse were stunning too. Totally worth the price, and we even got our fish cleaned for us. I’d highly recommend this for anyone looking to spend some quality time on the water!
Looking to Gift the Fishing Experience for My Dad's Birthday!
I’m thinking about getting my dad a half day fishing experience in Cape May for his birthday. He used to fish a lot when he was younger. Just wondering if it's easy to book and if they accommodate older folks? I don't want him to struggle or feel out of place.
