Q&A
A: If the weather conditions are unsafe, the Blue Ridge Hiking Company will work with you to reschedule the tour. They want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience, so it's best to keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your tour date. Just reach out to them a day or two prior, and they’ll help you find a new date that works!
A: Yes, this tour is great for families! There’s no strict age limit, but kids around 8 and up usually enjoy it. The trails are easy to moderate, so most children should be able to handle the hike with some encouragement. Just make sure they're comfortable walking a few miles and can follow instructions from the guide.
A: For the Pisgah Waterfall Tour, I recommend wearing comfortable hiking shoes or boots, and definitely dress in layers! Even if it’s warm at the start, it can get cooler in the shade or near the waterfalls. And don’t forget a rain jacket if there's any chance of rain. The guides do provide trekking poles, which are great if you’re not used to hiking on uneven terrain.

Just did the Half Day Waterfall Tour and it was AMAZING!
I went on the Half Day Group Pisgah Waterfall Tour last weekend and wow, what a beautiful experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable and took us to some stunning, hidden waterfalls that I didn’t even know existed. The hike was about 2.5 miles, and it was perfect for me, not too strenuous but still a nice workout. Plus, the snacks they provided were actually really good! I’m thinking of getting this as a gift for my brother's birthday. Anyone else done it?
Looking for a unique gift idea: Pisgah Waterfall Tour?
I’m considering this waterfall tour for my cousin's upcoming graduation gift. I've heard it’s a small group hike in Asheville which sounds perfect for someone who loves nature. Just wondering if the guides are friendly and how much help they are for beginners? Any insights would be appreciated!
