Q&A
A: The pickup is usually from various hotels in San Francisco, but you can also check their website for specific locations. If you're not staying at one of the hotels, you might want to consider Uber or public transit to get to the pickup point. Just plan to arrive a little early to ensure you don't miss the bus!
A: Yes, kids are welcome! There's no specific age limit for this tour. Just keep in mind that the trails can be a bit uneven and may require some supervision, especially for little ones. It's a great way for families to enjoy nature together!
A: The ferry ride back is included only if you choose that option during booking. It has an extra charge, but it's totally worth it for the views! Just remember to select it when you book. Otherwise, the bus will take you back to San Francisco.

Just did the Muir Woods & Sausalito tour and it was amazing!
I went on the Half-Day Muir Woods & Sausalito Tour last weekend, and wow, it was such a great experience! Getting up close to those massive redwoods was something else. We had 1.5 hours in Muir Woods and it felt just right. Afterwards, we spent an hour in Sausalito and grabbed some seafood by the waterfront. The ferry ride back was the icing on the cake! Totally recommend it for anyone looking for a break from SF.
Considering the Muir Woods tour as a gift! Any thoughts?
I’m thinking of gifting the Half-Day Muir Woods & Sausalito Tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love nature and haven't been to the redwoods before. Do you think they’d enjoy the ferry ride too? Or should I skip that option?
