Q&A

Q: What happens if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather isn't cooperating, KeyZ Charters is usually pretty flexible. They’ll work with you to find a new date that fits your schedule. Just make sure to give them a call as soon as you know there's a weather concern!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the boat?

A: There’s no strict age limit! Kids of all ages can join, but keep in mind that younger kids might need extra supervision. The captains are great with kids!

Q: What should we wear? Are there any restrictions?

A: Wear something comfortable and breathable since it can get hot. Flip-flops are fine, but I’d recommend water shoes if you plan to snorkel. No strict dress code, just no heavy fabrics.

Just got back from the Half Day Private Boat Tour in Islamorada!

Wow, what an incredible experience! We saw dolphins swimming right next to the boat and even spotted a manatee. Our captain was super knowledgeable about the local wildlife, which made it even more fun. I’m thinking about gifting this to my parents for their anniversary. Has anyone else done this? Any tips for first-timers?

Thinking about a private boat tour as a gift, worth it?

I’m looking into the Half Day Private Boat Tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves nature and wildlife. I’ve heard it's really good for families, but does anyone know how the snorkeling is? Is it easy for beginners?
