A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, A Boat Day will usually contact you to reschedule. They’re super flexible with changing dates, but it’s best to keep an eye on the forecast. Just be sure to check if there's a cancellation policy in place; they typically offer a full refund if you can’t reschedule. Always call ahead if you’re unsure!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this boat tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit! Kids of all ages can join as long as they can wear a life jacket. They actually provide life jackets for all sizes. It’s a super family-friendly experience, and my kids loved the slide! Just be aware that younger kids might need a little extra supervision.

Q: How much should we tip the captain?

A: Tipping is definitely appreciated! A good rule of thumb is around 15-20% of the total cost of the trip. If the captain goes above and beyond—like finding dolphins or giving great local tips—feel free to tip more. Just make sure to bring cash since most won’t be able to accept tips on card.

I’m so excited! I just booked the private boat charter for my friend's birthday. We’re going to Clearwater Beach next month and can’t wait to go shelling on those barrier islands and hopefully see dolphins! It’s for up to 10 people, so I’m inviting a big group.
