Q&A
A: Yes! Captain Ketch Charters is pretty flexible with weather-related cancellations. They’ll usually reach out to you if it looks like the weather’s going to be rough. If you need to reschedule, just give them a call or message them as soon as you can. They want you to have a great experience!
A: This charter is great for all ages! Kids as young as 5 can join, just make sure they’re comfortable with being on a boat. The captain is super friendly and will help everyone have a good time, no matter their skill level.
A: Definitely dress in layers! Mornings can be a bit chilly but it warms up fast. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat to protect from the sun. Comfortable shoes are a must since the boat can get slippery!

Thinking about booking a private fishing charter in Clearwater!
So, I’m considering getting this half-day fishing charter for my husband’s birthday. He loves fishing but has never been on a charter before. I love that it’s private for up to 4 people, which means we can invite our friends. Has anyone done this with Captain Ketch? What kind of fish should we expect to catch?
Just finished our fishing charter and it was a blast!
I surprised my dad with this fishing charter for Father’s Day and he couldn’t stop smiling. The private transport was perfect, and the snacks were a nice touch! We saw dolphins swimming next to the boat, AND caught a few redfish. Definitely recommend it if you’re on the fence!
