Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the winter wildlife tours?

A: There’s no strict age limit. Kids love the adventure! Just keep in mind that the tour involves some walking in potentially cold conditions, so dress them warmly. The guides are great with kids and know how to keep them engaged.

Q: What do I wear on these winter tours? Will I be cold?

A: Dress in layers! Start with a moisture-wicking base layer, add an insulating layer, and finish with a waterproof outer layer. Don't forget warm gloves and a hat. You'll be outside for a while, and the guides have blankets if you get chilly. I was comfortable the whole time!

Q: Can I reschedule if the weather’s bad? What happens then?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if weather conditions are unsafe or if visibility is poor. The company is really good about keeping you updated on conditions, so you’ll know well in advance if you need to change your plans. Just reach out to them directly to find a new date.

Just booked the Half Day Private Winter Wildlife Tour in Jackson Hole!

I'm so excited! I just got this tour for my partner's birthday. We’ll be exploring Grand Teton National Park and the best part is the guides know where all the cool wildlife is. I love that they provide binoculars too! I can't wait to see some moose in their winter coats. Plus, hot chocolate is included?! Count me in. Has anyone done this tour? What's it like?

Winter Wildlife Tour was AMAZING!

Just got back from the Half Day Private Winter Wildlife Tour, and wow! We saw elk, and the guide was so passionate about the area. The hot chocolate was a nice touch, and we really appreciated the binoculars. The views of the Tetons were breathtaking, especially with the snow. Totally recommend this as a gift or even a day out with friends. Plan to dress warm and be ready to hike a bit—totally worth it!
