Q&A

Q: Is this tour suitable for young kids? My daughter is 7 and I want to take her!

A: Yes, this tour is great for kids! They’ll love seeing Old Faithful and the colorful Grand Prismatic Spring up close. Just make sure to bring some snacks and water for her, as the hike can be a bit long for little legs. The guide is super friendly and can adjust the pace if needed.

Q: What's the best time of year to go for this tour? Don’t want to hit any bad weather.

A: Late spring to early fall is best—about late May to September. That said, mornings can still be chilly! We went in July and had perfect weather. Just check the forecast before you head out!

Q: Are there restrooms along the way during the tour?

A: Yes, there are restrooms at the Old Faithful area, and the guide will make sure you have opportunities to take breaks. Just let them know if you need to stop!

Thinking of gifting the Yellowstone Geyser Basin Tour - Any tips?

I’m thinking about getting this tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love the outdoors but aren’t super fit. Is it a good fit for them? Are there any spots to sit if they need a break?
