Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site. We also offer scuba diving on our trips. In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the snorkel trip? Is a swimsuit enough?

A: Definitely wear a swimsuit, but I’d suggest bringing a light cover-up or rash guard too. The sun can be pretty intense out there, and you’ll want to protect your skin. Also, don’t forget water shoes if you have them—they can be a lifesaver when you enter and exit the water!

Q: Can I bring my 6-year-old on this trip? Are there age restrictions?

A: Yes, kids as young as 6 can join the snorkel trip, which is great for family outings! Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water and ideally have some basic swimming skills. It’s a fun way to introduce them to marine life while keeping it safe and enjoyable.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Do they reschedule or refund?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, they typically offer to reschedule your trip for another day. They’ll let you know if conditions are unsafe, and you won’t lose your money. It’s always best to call ahead if you're unsure about the forecast!

Just went on the Half Day Snorkel Trip—amazing experience!

I just got back from the snorkel trip in Key Largo, and wow! We stopped at Molasses Reef and got to see some turtles and a ton of vibrant fish. They provided all the gear, and I loved that they had reef-safe sunscreen. Just a heads up, the currents can get a bit strong, so be ready if you're not a strong swimmer! Overall, a great gift idea for anyone who loves the ocean.

Considering gifting the snorkel trip for my friend's birthday!

I’m thinking about getting this half-day snorkel trip for my friend’s birthday. They love the ocean and are always talking about wanting to snorkel in the Keys. Do you think this is a good choice? I want it to be memorable! Also, any tips on making it special?
