Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the half-day float tour? Is it cold on the water?

A: You'll want to wear quick-drying swimwear and maybe a light long-sleeve shirt if you burn easily. They provide wetsuits and splash jackets, which helps with any chill from the water. I did this in August, and it was warm enough to swim during breaks!

Q: Is this tour suitable for younger kids?

A: Yes! The float trip is designed for all ages. As long as the kids are comfortable around water, they should have a blast! Just check with the company about age limits when you book.

Q: How does the rescheduling process work if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather is seriously bad, they’ll usually contact you beforehand to reschedule. Their customer service is pretty great! Just keep an eye on the forecast and call ahead if you have concerns.

Thinking of gifting the half-day float tour - any thoughts?

Hey everyone! I'm considering this half-day float tour from Kremmling as a gift for my partner's birthday. We both love being outdoors, and the idea of a relaxing float on the Colorado River sounds amazing. Has anyone done this? What was it like? Is the scenery really as beautiful as they say?

Just did the float tour - here's my recap!

So I just got back from the half-day float tour on the Colorado River, and wow! We had the best time. The rapids were just the right amount of fun, and I loved how we could just chill and swim too. The guides were great and made sure everyone was safe but also had fun. I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!
