Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but it's generally best for kids 10 and up due to the nature of the activity. Just make sure they're comfortable in the water and can follow instructions. The guides are really good at working with younger anglers, so they shouldn't have any issues!
A: Wear comfortable, quick-drying clothes suitable for being in and around the water. The outfitter provides waders and boots, but I recommend a hat and sunglasses for sun protection. Layers are great since it can get chilly by the river, especially in the morning!
A: Yes, safety comes first! If the weather isn't good, they usually reach out to reschedule or see if you want to pick a different date. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy when you book!

Thinking about booking the Half Day Walk and Wade Fly Fishing Trip!
I'm considering this as a gift for my dad's birthday. He’s never gone fly fishing before, but he loves the outdoors. The 4-hour trip in Vail sounds perfect! Does anyone know how beginner-friendly the guides are? I want him to have a good experience and maybe even catch a few fish!
Just did the half day fly fishing trip, and it was amazing!
I took my brother for his birthday, and we had such a blast! The guides were super knowledgeable and really helped us hone our skills right on the Eagle River. We even ended up catching a couple of nice rainbow trout! I highly recommend this for anyone who loves fishing, whether you're a pro or a total newbie.
