Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the walking tour?

A: There's no specific age limit for the Hamakua Coast Farm Tour, but I'd recommend it for kids ages 6 and up. The walking isn't too strenuous, and they’ll have a blast tasting the Lilikoi juice! Just keep an eye on them around the farm equipment and steep areas.

Q: Can we reschedule if we can't make our original date?

A: Yes, you can reschedule your tour! Just give Nakihalani Farm a call or send them an email at least 48 hours in advance. They're pretty accommodating, and I'm sure they’ll work with your schedule.

Q: What's the best time of year to go for the best views?

A: I'd say late winter to early spring (January to March) is the best for views! The weather is generally clear, plus the farms are lush and vibrant. Just keep in mind that it's Hawaii, so be ready for sudden rain showers anytime!

Thinking about gifting the Hamakua Coast Farm Tour!

Hey everyone! I’m considering this Hamakua Coast Farm Walking Tour for my parents' anniversary. I love that they’ll get to taste all the Lilikoi goodies and chat with the owner about the farm. I know it’s located on the Big Island, but is it easy to get to? Also, how’s the walking part? My dad’s got some knee issues.

Had the best time at Nakihalani Farm!

I just got back from the Hamakua Coast Farm Tour last weekend, and wow! The views were stunning and the Lilikoi juice—so fresh! I was worried about the walking part, but it was pretty light. Definitely take a picnic lunch if you can, we just relaxed and soaked in the breeze. Highly recommend!
