Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids under 2 can fly for free on a parent's lap. For kids aged 2-12, they usually need to be in their own seat, and there's a child fare for that. It's definitely a great experience for all ages, just make sure the kids are comfortable with flying!
A: Wear light layers! It can get a bit chilly up in the air, especially if you're flying in the morning or late afternoon. I'd suggest a light jacket and closed-toe shoes since you might be getting in and out of the helicopter easily. Don’t forget your sunglasses and sunscreen!
A: If the weather looks bad, the company will likely reschedule you for another day. They’re pretty flexible, and safety is a big priority for them. Just keep an eye on the forecast and be prepared to adjust your plans if needed. They also have great customer service if you have any questions!

Thinking of gifting the Hamakua Coast helicopter tour!
Hey everyone! I'm considering getting the Hamakua Coast & Valleys Safari helicopter tour for my parents' anniversary. They love nature and haven’t been to Hawaii yet. The views sound incredible, especially the waterfalls! Has anyone tried this? Any tips on making it special?
Just did the Hamakua Coast helicopter tour and WOW!
OMG, I just got back from the Hamakua Coast helicopter tour and it was AMAZING! The cliffs and waterfalls were stunning. The pilots were super friendly and made the experience incredible. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Big Island. Bring your camera, you won’t want to miss a shot!
