Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but it's recommended for kids at least 6 years old. Younger kids can definitely join as long as they’re comfortable in the water and with a life jacket on. Just make sure to keep an eye on them, especially if you're snorkeling. It's a fun experience for families!
A: Definitely wear swimwear and bring a rash guard or something to protect your skin from the sun. Water shoes are a good idea too, as the beach can be rocky. Also, don’t forget a hat and sunglasses for the kayak part—it's sunny out there! They provide dry bags for your stuff.
A: Yes! They’re pretty flexible with rescheduling in case of bad weather. If the conditions look unsafe, they'll give you the option to move your date. I recommend calling or checking in a day ahead just to confirm everything’s good to go.

Just did the Hanalei Bay kayak & snorkel tour! Amazing experience!
I just got back from the kayak and snorkel tour in Hanalei Bay and it was incredible! We got to kayak through the most beautiful scenery and then snorkeled at a secluded beach. The guides were super friendly, and they provided gear and snacks, which was a nice touch. I totally recommend this for anyone visiting Kauai—especially if you love the ocean. Anyone else been? What was your favorite part?
Thinking of gifting the kayak & snorkel tour—any thoughts?
I’m considering gifting the Hanalei Bay kayak and snorkel tour to my partner for their birthday. It sounds like a blast, but I’m wondering about the difficulty level. Are there any tips for a newbie? Also, how long does the whole experience usually take?
