Q&A
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule! Just give the Mardi Gras School of Cooking a call to discuss your options. They’re pretty flexible, especially if you have a good reason. Just make sure to do it a few days in advance so they can accommodate you.
A: There’s no strict age limit, but it's more suited for adults since it involves cooking with alcohol and some knife work. Kids might enjoy it, but it’s best for teens and up. Just be sure to check with them if you're bringing younger ones!
A: Wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting messy! Aprons are usually provided, but it’s good to wear clothes you can move around in. Closed-toe shoes are best since you’ll be working in a kitchen environment. Just be ready to have fun and get a little flour on you!

Just got back from the Cajun Cooking Class – What a Blast!
I just took the Hands-on Cajun Traditions Cooking Class at the Mardi Gras School of Cooking in the French Quarter, and it was amazing! The chefs were super friendly and made everything feel like a fun dinner party. We cooked gumbo and jambalaya, plus enjoyed some great drinks! The atmosphere is so welcoming, it felt like cooking at a friend's house. Totally worth the price, I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique experience in New Orleans!
Thinking about gifting this cooking class – Any tips?
I’m looking for a fun gift for my foodie friend who’s never been to New Orleans. The Hands-on Cajun Traditions Cooking Class looks perfect! Has anyone done it? What’s the vibe like? Is it suited for a beginner or more for experienced cooks?
