Q&A
A: Yes, kids can definitely join the fun! Luther's provides life vests in various sizes, including infant and child sizes. Your 7-year-old should have a blast kayaking with you, especially since you can rent a tandem kayak. Just make sure to supervise closely, as always. The harbor is pretty safe, but keep an eye out for any boats.
A: If the weather looks bad, you can usually reschedule your rental. Just call Luther's and explain the situation. They’re really accommodating about it, especially if there’s lightning or heavy rain. It's always good to check the forecast before you go!
A: Not at all! The harbor is pretty calm, and the staff at Luther's give great instructions. You can paddle at your own pace, and if you get tired, just beach it for a bit at Norriego Point. It's perfect for beginners. Bring some water and enjoy the views!

Thinking of gifting a kayaking experience in Destin!
Hey everyone! I’m planning to surprise my sister with a Harbor Kayak Rental in Destin. She loves the outdoors and this sounds perfect! Just wondering how long the experience usually lasts and if it’s worth it to rent a tandem kayak for her and her friend? I want them to have the best time possible!
Just did the Harbor Kayak Rental and it was amazing!
OMG, I just got back from kayaking in Destin and I can’t stop talking about it! The water was so clear, and my friend and I even saw some fish swimming by. Kayaking to the Natural Pools was the best part! Just a heads up, definitely wear sunscreen and take a waterproof bag for your stuff. I’m considering getting this for my parents next!
