Q&A
A: You can definitely do this tour at night! The spooky atmosphere of Harvard Yard adds to the ghostly tales. Just make sure to bring a flashlight if it's really dark. I did it after sunset, and it was super eerie and fun! Just check the weather – it can get chilly.
A: Nope, there's no time limit! You can take as long as you need since it’s self-paced. I spent a couple of hours wandering and soaking in the spooky vibes. Also, you can listen to it again later if you want to relive the experience!
A: It's great for older kids and up! The stories can be a bit spooky, but they’re more historical than horror. I took my 13-year-old and she loved it! Just gauge your kids' comfort with ghost stories.

Just did the Harvard Haunts Tour - so spooky and fun!
I just finished the Harvard's Haunts Ghost Walking Tour, and wow, it was a blast! The app is super easy to use, and I went at my own pace. Some of the tales gave me actual chills! If you're in Cambridge, definitely check it out, especially near Halloween. I went around 8 PM, and it felt just right. Spooky music playing through my earbuds added to the experience. Highly recommend for anyone who loves history or ghost stories!
Thinking of gifting the Harvard Haunts Tour – any tips?
I want to get this ghost tour for my friend’s birthday. I’ve heard it’s super fun, but I’m a bit worried about the weather. If it rains, can you still go? I don’t want to ruin the surprise! Any advice would be appreciated!
