Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the Haunted Boston Common & Beacon Hill Ghost Tour? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since it involves quite a bit of walking! The tour takes you through some cobblestone areas and possibly uneven surfaces. Dress in layers too; it can get chilly, especially as the sun sets in Boston. I went in late September and regretted not having a hoodie!

Q: Are there age restrictions for the Haunted Boston Common tour? I'm considering it for my kids.

A: No strict age limits! It’s family-friendly, but keep in mind that some of the ghost stories can be spooky. I took my 10 and 12-year-olds, and they loved it. The guide is great at tailoring the tales to make them fun, not too scary.

Q: How do rescheduling and cancellations work if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather's really bad, they usually postpone the tour and give you options to reschedule. Just make sure to check their policy on their website or give them a call. We had to reschedule once because of rain, and it was super easy!
