Q&A
A: The tour is family-friendly, but kids under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Just keep in mind that some of the stories can be a bit spooky, so it depends on your kid's comfort level with ghosts! It's a great mix of history and hauntings, so if they’re curious, they’ll love it!
A: The tour operates rain or shine! However, if there's severe weather, they might cancel and reschedule. Always best to check their website or call ahead if the forecast looks iffy. Bring a good umbrella just in case!
A: Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be walking quite a bit! I’d suggest dressing in layers, too, since it can get chilly at night in San Diego. Plus, you want to be ready for any spooky surprises—dress like a ghost buster if you want! 😂

Just did the Haunted Whaley House tour—so much fun!
I took the Haunted Whaley House tour last weekend and it was a blast! The docents were super knowledgeable and shared some wild stories about the family and all the ghost sightings. I’m not usually into ghost stuff, but I loved the history aspect! It’s really cool to see how they lived back in the 1800s. I went with a couple of friends, and we all had a great time! Definitely recommend it if you’re in San Diego!
Considering the Haunted Whaley House tour as a gift—any insights?
I’m looking at getting the Haunted Whaley House tour for my boyfriend. He loves history and ghost stuff. Just wondering if anyone has done it recently? What was your experience like? How spooky is it? Thanks!
