Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but it's best suited for kids 5 and up since some parts may require a bit of walking. Just keep in mind that younger kids might find it less engaging. If you're considering it for kids, make sure they can handle a full day of exploration and travel.
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes because you’ll be doing some walking on uneven terrain. Dress in layers too—mornings can be cool, but it heats up during the day. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat, especially if you're going to be out at the steam vents!
A: Yes, if the weather isn’t cooperating, you can reschedule. The provider is pretty flexible about that. Just make sure to contact them at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees.

Thinking about booking the Hawaii Volcanoes tour - any tips?
Hey folks! I’m looking to book the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park experience from Kauai for my partner’s birthday. Has anyone done this? I’m curious about the flight from Lihue and how the tours are structured. The idea of seeing Kilauea sounds amazing! Any tips on must-see spots or things to prepare for?
Just did the Hawaii Volcanoes tour - WOW!
I just got back from the volcano tour and I can't recommend it enough! The flight from Kauai was quick, and our guide was super knowledgeable. The landscapes were unreal, especially the lava formations. Just a heads up, wear comfy shoes because there’s a lot of walking. Grab some snacks too, you’ll need the energy!
