Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participating in the lei making experience?

A: There's no strict age limit for the Hawaiian Culture & Lei Making experience at Ohana Ranch. It's really suitable for all ages! However, younger kids might need a bit of extra help from adults when it comes to the actual lei making. Just make sure to check with the ranch in case they have any specific recommendations for younger participants.

Q: What should I wear to the lei making experience?

A: Comfortable, casual clothing is best! Since you're on a ranch, closed-toe shoes are a good idea, and maybe a hat or sunglasses if it's sunny. You might get a bit messy while making your lei, so don’t wear anything too fancy. Also, it can get a bit warm, so breathable fabrics will help keep you comfortable.

Q: Can we reschedule if something comes up before our booked date?

A: Yes, Ohana Ranch is pretty flexible with rescheduling! Just make sure to give them a heads up as soon as you can. They’ll work with you to find an alternative date if something unexpected happens.

Just booked the Hawaiian Culture & Lei Making experience at Ohana Ranch!

I’m so excited! My partner and I are going next month, and I’ve heard amazing things about the local hosts and the storytelling aspect. We love learning about different cultures, so this is perfect. Plus, we get to make our own leis! Just wanted to know if anyone has tips for the best time to visit and what to expect.

Who else has done the Lei Making at Ohana Ranch?

I went there a few weeks ago, and it was such a lovely experience! The staff were super friendly and shared a ton of cultural knowledge. Making the lei was a lot of fun, and I was surprised at how easy it was with their guidance. Just a heads up, it gets hot, so definitely wear light clothes. Can't wait to show off my lei!
