Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this bike food tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids are totally welcome on this bike food tour! There's no strict age limit, but keep in mind the tour is about 4 hours long, so younger kids might get tired. The tour is great for families and they even have kid-sized bikes. Just make sure to let them know in advance if you’re bringing little ones.

Q: What's the weather like in Oahu during this tour? What if it rains?

A: Oahu’s weather can be pretty warm, but occasional rain showers are possible. If it rains, they usually don’t cancel the tour unless it’s really bad. You might just get a little wet, which could be refreshing! They provide helmets, so you’ll be safe. Always check the weather before you go, just in case!

Q: What should I wear for the bike food tour? Is it casual?

A: Yeah, it’s super casual! Just wear something comfortable to bike in, like shorts and a t-shirt, but don’t forget sunscreen since you’ll be out in the sun. It’s a good idea to wear sneakers or closed-toe shoes for safety. Bring a light jacket if you think it might cool down later.

Thinking of gifting the Hawaiian Food Tour by Bike—anyone done it?

I’m looking to gift the Hawaiian Food Tour by Bike in Oahu to my foodie friend. The itinerary sounds amazing with traditional Hawaiian eats like Lau Lau and poke. I just want to know if it’s really worth it and how filling the food tastings are. Also, how often do they do these tours? Any tips for first-timers?

Just came back from the bike food tour—amazing experience!

I just did the Hawaiian Food Tour by Bike in Oahu and it was fantastic! We hit 6 different spots and my favorite was the fish taco—so fresh! The guide was super knowledgeable and made the history part really fun. Also, the malasadas were to die for! Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves food and a bit of adventure.
