Q&A

Q: Can you tell me more about the hiking part? Is it suitable for beginners?

A: The hike is about 0.5 miles each way on a paved trail, so it's pretty manageable for beginners! It takes you to a beautiful waterfall, which is a nice reward after the hike. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes, and you'll be fine!

Q: What's the weather like there in October? Should we plan for rain?

A: October can be a bit unpredictable. It might rain, so I’d suggest checking the forecast before your tour. Layering is a good idea too since it can be warm during the day but chilly in the evening, especially at the winery!

Q: Is there an age limit for this experience? Thinking of taking my kids.

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but it’s definitely more suitable for older kids who can handle the hike. The winery might have age restrictions for tastings, but you could just enjoy the scenery while they sip on something non-alcoholic!

Just booked the Helen Hike Wine and Dine Tour for my wife’s birthday!

I can’t wait! We’ll be going next month, and I’m so excited about the hike and the winery experience. I’ve heard the waterfall is stunning, and my wife loves wine! We’re driving from Atlanta, so I hope the parking in Helen isn’t too crazy. Has anyone done this tour recently?

Thinking about gifting this tour to my parents!

They’ve been wanting to explore North Georgia and love wine. Just unsure if they’ll enjoy the hiking part. Anyone think it’s suitable for older folks?
