Helicopter into a professional dog camp on top of the Godwin Glacier and meet great athletes, the Alaskan huskies and mushers while learning the ins and outs of Alaska’s state sport. Ride along on an easy, 2-mile dog sled ride, learn more about how these beautiful dogs are raised, then play in the snow and cuddle with the puppies.

Q: Is there an age limit for this dog sledding experience?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for kids 6 and up. The dog sled ride is gentle, so younger kids could enjoy it too if they can sit still for a bit. Just make sure they're bundled up since it can get chilly on the glacier!

Q: What if the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of the tour?

A: Seward Helicopters has a great cancellation policy for bad weather. They’ll try to reschedule you for another day. If that doesn't work, they usually offer a full refund. It’s best to call them directly if you're concerned!

Q: How much time should we expect for the whole experience?

A: Plan for around 3 to 4 hours total. The helicopter ride to the glacier is about 15 minutes each way, and you’ll spend about an hour at the dog camp. But it's worth every second! Just enjoy the views!

Hey everyone! I just snagged a spot for the Helicopter Glacier & Dog Sledding adventure in Seward next month. I’m super excited! What should I wear? Do I need to bring anything special for the dog sledding part? I got the package for two, and I can't wait to cuddle with those puppies!

OMG you guys, I just got back from the helicopter glacier tour and dog sledding experience! The helicopter ride over Seward was outta this world, and meeting the huskies was just as great. The mushers were so friendly and the puppies... I can't even describe how cute they were! Totally worth every penny. If you're considering it, just do it!
