Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? Can kids come along?

A: There isn't a strict age limit for the HEROES OF FREEDOM tour, but it's best suited for older kids (10 and up) who can appreciate the history and significance. Younger children are welcome too, but keep in mind it’s quite a serious subject matter. Bring something to keep them occupied if they get restless!

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Any recommendations?

A: Comfortable clothing is key since you'll be in an air-conditioned vehicle but might step out at various points. Wear layers because DC can be humid in summer but cooler in the vehicle. Sneakers are a good choice for walking around. And don’t forget sunscreen if it’s sunny!

Q: Can we reschedule if something comes up? What's the policy?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Liberty Tours DC is pretty flexible with changes, but it's ideal to give them a heads-up at least a week in advance. Just reach out to their customer service, and they’ll help you find a new date.

Just did the HEROES OF FREEDOM tour in DC, and wow!

I went on the HEROES OF FREEDOM tour last week with my dad, who’s a veteran. It was a really moving experience. We got to see several monuments and learn about the sacrifices made by the armed forces. The private transportation was super comfortable. If you’re thinking of gifting this to someone who appreciates history or has served, I highly recommend it! Just be ready for some emotionally heavy moments.

Thinking about gifting the HEROES OF FREEDOM tour!

I’m considering this for my brother’s birthday. He really loves history and served in the military. Just wondering if this tour is really interactive or more of a sit-back-and-listen type of deal? Any tips for making it special for him?
