Q&A
A: Absolutely! The Hidden Stairways tour is designed to be leisurely, so it's suitable for both kids and seniors. There's a bit of stair climbing, but it's not strenuous at all. Plus, the guide makes it really engaging with fun stories about the neighborhoods and stairs you're seeing. Just make sure everyone is comfortable walking a couple of miles at a relaxed pace!
A: Dress comfortably! I'd recommend wearing some good walking shoes since you’ll be on stairs and uneven pavement. Layers are also a good idea because it can get a bit chilly, especially if there's fog. I've done the tour in both shorts and a light jacket and felt good the whole time!
A: If it rains, the tour will likely be canceled for safety reasons. The guide, Gregory, is really good at notifying you in advance if the weather's looking bad. If it's canceled, you can usually reschedule for another date or get a refund. Just keep an eye on the forecasts, especially in the foggy summer months!

Just did the Hidden Stairways tour—what an experience!
I recently went on the Hidden Stairways tour and I can't recommend it enough! The views of the Golden Gate were stunning, and the mosaics were beautiful. Gregory, our guide, shared some incredible stories about the history of the area. It was such a chill vibe, and I loved that it was suitable for all ages. Plus, I got a little succulent to take home, how cool is that? Definitely a great gift idea for friends or family visiting SF!
Thinking of gifting the Hidden Stairways tour for my friend's birthday!
Hey everyone, I'm considering gifting the Hidden Stairways tour to my friend who loves exploring. I think she'd appreciate the unique views and art. Has anyone done it? What did you think? I'm especially curious about whether it’s an easy walk and suitable for someone who's not super active.
