Q&A

Q: Is this tour good for kids? What age do you recommend?

A: Yes, this bike tour can be enjoyable for older kids. I'd say ages 10 and up would be best, as they should be able to handle the bike riding for 3.5 hours. Make sure they’re comfortable riding in a busy city like NYC! Unlimited Biking also has tandem bikes available for younger ones if needed.

Q: What's the parking situation near the starting point of the tour?

A: Parking can be tricky in Manhattan. There are some garages nearby, but they can get pricey, around $30-$50 for a few hours. I recommend using public transport if you can. The subways are pretty close to the starting point by the Brooklyn Bridge.

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: If it's raining, they do try to reschedule. You can usually get a full refund if the tour is canceled due to weather. Just make sure to check the cancellation policy before booking. It's always best to monitor the forecast as your tour date approaches!

Just finished the NYC guided bike tour! Here's my take.

I did the Highlights of NYC Guided Bike Tour last week, and wow, it was awesome! We started near the Brooklyn Bridge and hit so many sights like Battery Park and Chinatown. The guide was super knowledgeable, and the ride was comfortable. I’d recommend wearing layers since it can get chilly by the Hudson. Totally worth every penny!

Considering this bike tour as a gift, but not sure about it.

I’m thinking of getting the Highlights of NYC Guided Bike Tour for my sister who loves NYC. She’s a bit hesitant about biking, though. Is it really suited for beginners? Any good tips for a first-timer?
