Q&A

Q: Is there a limit on the age of kids for this tour? Thinking of getting it for my 10-year-old niece.

A: The Highline and Chelsea Markets Tour is great for kids! There’s no strict age limit, but I’d recommend it for ages 8 and up. The walking isn’t too strenuous, and kids usually love the art and cool views. Just keep an eye on them near the edges, especially in busier areas.

Q: What should we wear? Is it suitable for all weather?

A: Definitely check the weather before you go! Dress in layers since it can get windy up on the Highline. If it looks like rain, bring a light waterproof jacket. Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking quite a bit.

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up? What’s the policy?

A: Yes, you can reschedule the tour! Just make sure to contact YES Tours at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible and will help you find another time that works for you. Always good to have a plan B!

Just did the Highline and Chelsea Markets Tour – what a blast!

I recently went on the Highline and Chelsea Markets Tour and it was incredible! The views of the Hudson River were breathtaking, and our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the area. We even got to check out some amazing street art along the way. After we finished our walk, the Chelsea Market was a foodie’s paradise! I had the best tacos there. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to explore NYC in a fun way!

Considering the Highline tour as a gift – any thoughts?

I’m thinking about gifting the Highline and Chelsea Markets Tour to my sister for her birthday. She loves exploring but isn’t super active. Is this tour laid-back enough for someone who doesn’t do much walking? Also, what do you think about the food options in Chelsea Market?
