Q&A

Q: Is this tour suitable for young kids? What age range is best for this experience?

A: Absolutely! This tour is designed to be family-friendly, so kids of all ages can join. Just keep in mind that some areas, like the Kaumana Caves, may have uneven surfaces, so be aware of your child's walking ability. It's a great way for kids to learn about nature and Hawaiian culture in a fun setting!

Q: What should I wear for this experience? Are there any specific recommendations?

A: Comfort is key! I'd recommend wearing breathable clothing and good walking shoes since you’ll be exploring some trails and caves. Also, pack a light jacket or sweater for the Mauna Kea Visitor Center, as it can get chilly at higher elevations. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat, too!

Q: What if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule our tour?

A: Great question! If the weather is unsafe, the tour provider will contact you to discuss rescheduling. They’re pretty accommodating, and I've heard they make it super easy to find another date. Just keep an eye on the forecast as your tour date approaches.

Thinking of gifting the Waterfalls and Mauna Kea experience!

I’m considering this tour for my parents' anniversary. They love nature and have never been to Hawaii. The idea of seeing Rainbow Falls and exploring the caves sounds perfect! Just wanted to know if anyone has done this and if it’s worth it? Also, how was the picnic dinner?

Just got back from the Waterfalls and Mauna Kea experience!

OMG, this tour was everything! Rainbow Falls was stunning, and I couldn't believe how great the Boiling Pots looked. Walking through the Kaumana Caves was like stepping into another world. Definitely worth the price! Plus, the picnic under the stars was a perfect way to end the day.
