Q&A

Q: Do they provide wetsuits for the snorkeling part, or do we need to bring our own?

A: Yes, they provide all the snorkeling gear, including wetsuits if needed! Just make sure to let them know your size when you check in. It’ll help you stay warm in the water. Plus, you get to enjoy that awesome Hawaiian sun while floating with the turtles!

Q: What’s the age limit for kids? Can I take my 5-year-old with me?

A: Kids of all ages are welcome! However, children under 12 must have a parent or guardian with them in the water. It’s a fantastic family experience, and your 5-year-old will love seeing the turtles up close!

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: They usually go out unless the weather is really bad. If they cancel, you can reschedule or get a refund. I suggest checking the forecast the day before. And hey, a little rain doesn’t ruin the fun if you’re in the water!

Anyone done the Turtle Snorkel at Hilton Hawaiian Village?

I’m thinking about booking the Turtle Snorkel experience for a gift! I heard it's at Turtle Canyon and you get to see actual green sea turtles! I love that it’s eco-friendly too. Does anyone know if the lunch is worth it? What's included in that? And is it pretty chill, or do I need to be a strong swimmer?

Gift idea for my ocean-loving friend?

I want to surprise my buddy with something cool. He loves the ocean and turtles! I found this Turtle Snorkel tour that departs from Waikiki. Has anyone been? What should I know before going? Is it good for a beginner who isn’t super confident in the water?
